Matthew E. Morgan is a Partner at Elections, LLC where he counsels clients on all aspects of law related to the political process and elections. He advises candidates, political committees, corporations, and nonprofits on regulatory and political law issues, including federal and state campaign finance and election administration laws, ethics and gift rules, pay-to-play laws, and lobbying laws.
Previously, Mr. Morgan served as the Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief Counsel to the Vice President of the United States where he provided advice to the Vice President and his staff on constitutional, regulatory, national security and related policy issues, led the Office’s response to congressional oversight and litigation, and represented the Office in the inter–agency process with respect to federal regulations.
Mr. Morgan earned his B.A. from Purdue University, his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Indiana bars.
