Larry D. Thompson
Larry D. Thompson became PepsiCo’s Senior Vice President, Government Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary in November 2004.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, Thompson served as a Senior Fellow with the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., and served as Deputy Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice.
In 2002, he was named to lead the National Security Coordination Council and was also named by President Bush to head the Corporate Fraud Task Force. In April 2000, Thompson was selected by Congress to chair the bipartisan Judicial Review Commission on Foreign Asset Control. Prior to his government career, he was a partner in the law firm of King & Spalding, a position he held from 1986 to 2001.
