Gavin Young is an Attorney Advisor at the Administrative Conference of the United States. Prior to joining ACUS, Mr. Young served as an attorney for the Appeals Council of the Social Security Administration in roles that included the appellate adjudication of disability claims, regulatory and policy compliance, assessments of fraud risk and fraud investigations, and a detail to the House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means. Previously, Mr. Young served as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee. He holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, where he was an editor of the Journal of Law, Economics, and Policy.
